Legislative Day

Monday, January 12th, 2026 was Indiana Military & Veterans Legislative Day at the Indiana Statehouse. The event was founded in 2013 to bring together Indiana’s veterans, active military members, and their families with state legislators for meaningful discussions about the critical policies shaping their lives. This year’s Legislative Chair for the event was State Representative, and Army Veteran, Renee Pack promises to shape impactful military and veteran-focused legislation.

STEM Education Conference

The Civil Air Patrol had an exhibit and volunteered at the 2026 Indiana STEM Education Conference at Purdue University in West Lafayette. The conference is for K-12 STEM educators and draws exhibitors from STEM focused businesses and organizations. Similar to the AFA the CAP actively engages with K-12 teachers to promote aerospace education and encourage youth participation in aviation-related activities.

The Indiana State Air & Space Forces Association mission is to promote dominant U.S. Air & Space Forces as the foundation of a strong National Defense; to honor and support our Airmen, Guardians, and their Families; and to remember and respect our enduring Heritage.

Our over 1,000 members are active duty enlisted and officers, veterans, and civilians with or without any current or previous military affiliation. What we all share is a deep concern and commitment to our Nation and the part aerospace plays in it.
